Footwear One-Year Limited Warranty
What This Warranty Covers. This One-Year Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in Montrail-brand footwear manufactured by Montrail. This includes defects that may occur under normal wear. Montrail does not warranty and is not responsible for damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, laundering, the natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear or failure to follow care instructions. The Montrail Warranty Department will inspect the product at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Warranty, we will repair or replace it within approximately four weeks. During peak season, turnaround time can take up to six weeks. You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased the product. In many cases, the retailer will be able to assist you.
How Long This Warranty Lasts. This Warranty lasts for one year. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer the product. Proof of purchase is required.

Resole Information
Most boots can be resoled. However, there may be cases where a sole is no longer available, or there may be extenuating circumstances that may prevent a boot from being resoled. We recommend that you use Dave Page, Cobbler. Dave is super familiar with our line and he stocks a comprehensive inventory of our outsoles for repair jobs.

Athletes, Sponsorships, & Promotions
Montrail's support of adventurers like the Montrail Ultrarunning Team, as well as events both national and grassroots have always been and will continue to be an integral part of the brand. We believe that sponsoring individuals who are passionate, dedicated and who don't mind getting dirty is vital. Though the majority of the events we sponsor are trail running events, we also support events that focus on hiking and backpacking. Montrail is committed to being involved on a local level and building communities around those events.

Where are your shoes made?
We contract suppliers throughout the globe to manufacture our shoes. And, because we recognize that there are different legal and cultural environments in which contractors operate throughout the world, we have established the "Standards of Manufacturing Practices" (SMP) to which all suppliers doing business with Montrail must agree to meet.
What are the conditions like in the factories Montrail uses?
As part of the Columbia Sportswear family, Montrail operates under the "Standards of Manufacturing Practices" (SMP) to which all suppliers doing business with Montrail must agree to meet. We are committed to assuring that the factories with which we do business share those values we established in the SMP and have monitoring systems to assess and promote compliance to the principles of these standards. We visit our factories on regular intervals as well use external service providers to verify, remediate and educate both factory managers and workers.
